Data source: Texas Open Data Portal, dataset “Collin CAD Appraisal Data” (Socrata resource, currently id vffy-snc6, published for the 2025 roll). Collin CAD republishes this under a new resource id each year — if results stop returning, that id below in the code needs updating to the current year’s dataset from collincad.org/open-data-portal. Full text search ($q) is used rather than fixed column filters, since Socrata makes that reliable without needing to hardcode this dataset’s exact column names. For anything beyond light traffic, register a free Socrata app token at data.texas.gov developer settings and add it below — it removes the shared rate limit.
